Bio:

Dr. Wei Wang is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at San Diego State University (SDSU). He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering with Significant Computer Science Emphasis from University of Nebraska – Lincoln, NE, USA, in December 2009. His research interests include wireless multimedia communications, QoE-QoS issues, network economics, and IoTs. He serves as an Associate Editor of Wiley Security and Communication Networks Journal, the Guest Editor of several journals and special issues such as IEEE ACCESS, Springer MONET, IJDSN, etc, the web co-chair of IEEE INFOCOM 2016-18, the symposium co-chair of IEEE ICC-NGNI 2018, the symposium co-chair of ICNC-MCC 2018, the track-chair of ACM SAC 2014-18, the program chair of ACM RACS 2014-17, workshop co-chair of ICST BodyNets 2013, the chair of IEEE CIT-MMC track 2012, the vice-chair of IEEE ICCT-NGN track 2011, and the program chair of the ICST-IWMMN 2010, a Technical Program Committee (TPC) member for many international conferences such as IEEE INFOCOM, GLOBECOM, and ICC, the Co-Director of IEEE MMTC Review Board 2017-2018, and the Co-Director of the IEEE MMTC Publicity Board 2014-2016. He is a Senior Member of IEEE.

 

Prof. Jian Shen

Professor, Associate Dean

Bio:

Prof. Jian Shen received the M. E and Ph. D degrees in Computer Science from Chosun University, South Korea, in 2009 and 2012, respectively. Since late 2012, he has been a professor at Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology (NUIST), Nanjing, China. Currently, he serves as the Vice Dean of the College of Computer and Software at NUIST and serves as the academic leader of the team of cloud computing and security. His research interests include information security, public cryptography, network security, mobile computing and wireless sensor networks, and cloud computing & security. He is currently a member of IEEE, IEEE CS, ACM, IET and JSCS. He is also a member representative of CCF. Recently, he has published more than 70 academic papers and most of his publications have been appeared in some top-tier journals and magazines in the information security and cloud computing fields, including IEEE TDSC, IEEE TIFS, IEEE TETC, IEEE IoT Journal and etc. He served as the General Chair, TPC Chair, Organization Chair for many international conferences. Over the past five years, he hosted more than 10 projects, including 2 projects from NSFC.

 

Liang Zhou

Bio:

Liang Zhou received his Ph.D. degree major at Electronic Engineering both from Ecole Normale Superieure (E.N.S.), Cachan, France and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China in March 2009. From 2009 to 2010, he was a postdoctoral researcher in ENSTA-ParisTech, Paris, France. From 2010 to 2011, he was a Humboldt Research Fellow in Technical University of Munich, Munich, Germany. Now, he is a professor Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China. His research interests are in the area of multimedia communications and networks, in particular, resource allocation and scheduling, cognitive and cooperative communications, cross-layer design, multimedia security, multimedia signal processing. He currently serves as an editor for IEEE Transactions on Multimedia, IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology, and guest editor for IEEE Systems Journal, EURASIP Journal of Wireless Communications and Networking, ACM/Springer Multimedia Systems Journal. He also serves as Co-Chair and Technical Program Committee (TPC) member for a number of international conferences and workshops.

 

Tigang Jiang

Bio:

Prof. Tigang Jiang is associate professor of School of Communication Information and Engineering, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China(UESTC), also he is vice director of the lab of Internet of Things and Multimedia (IOTMM), UESTC. From 2014 to 2015, He joined Computer Communication Research Group (CCRG) as a visiting scholar of computer engineering department, University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC). His current research interests include networking, cyber-physical systems, artificial intelligence, pattern recognition, deep learning, etc. His work about cognitive radio network has attracted a lot of citations. Prof.Jiang has more than 70 published papers and 10 patents, he is senior member of IEEE. Prof.Jiang served as PC vice chair of BodyNETS 2013, TPC chair of GreeNETS 2014, and he serves as area editor of EAI Endorsed Transactions on Mobile Communications and Applications, guest editor of SI: Multimedia and Social Data Processing in Vehicular Networks of ACM/Springer Mobile Networks & Applications (MONET). He received his Ph.D degree from Southwest Jiaotong University, China.

 

Jianguo Sun

Jianguo Sun received his B.S. in Computer Science and Technology in 2003, M.Eng in Computer Science and Technology from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2005, and Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Technology from Harbin Engineering University in 2009, respectively. During 2015 and 2016, Prof. Prof. Sun spent one year at UC Berkeley as a Visiting Scholar. Currently, he is an Associate Dean at the College of Computer Science, Harbin Engineering University.

Dianhui Chu

Bio:

Dianhui Chu, Ph. D., Professor, doctoral supervisor, Dean of School of Computer Science and Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology, Weihai, Executive Deputy Director of Shandong Enterprise Network and E-business Engineering Technology Research Center, and Director of Weihai Health Care Service Engineering Research Center. He mainly engages in the work of service computing and software services engineering, business intelligence and data mining, health care services technology, etc.. In recent five years, as a responsible person, he has undertaken and completed over 20 projects from National Natural Science Foundation, 863 program, State Technology Supporting Plan, Major Special Projects in Nuclear Power Base, and other national and provincial programs. He has won 2 second and 2 third Science and Technology Progress Awards at Ministerial and Provincial levels, achieve over 30 patents/software copyrights, and published more than 50 academic papers. He has won the honorary titles of “Shandong Outstanding Youth Science and Technology Award”, “Shandong Mid-Youth Expert with Outstanding Contributions”, “IBM Excellent Scholar Award” , etc..

Danda B. Rawat

Bio:

Dr. Rawat is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at Howard University, Washington, DC, USA. Dr. Rawat’s research focuses on cybersecurity and wireless networking for emerging networked systems including cyber-physical systems (energy, transportation, water, UAV), smart cities, software defined systems and vehicular network security and privacy. His professional career comprises more than 10 years in academia, government, and industry. He has secured over $2 million in research funding from US National Science Foundation, US Department of Homeland Security, and private Foundations. Dr. Rawat is the recipient of NSF Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Award in 2016, the US Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Summer Faculty Visiting Fellowship in 2017, Outstanding Research Faculty Award (Award for Excellence in Scholarly Activity) at GSU in 2015 and the Best Paper Award from BWCCA 2010. He has delivered over 10 Keynotes and invited speeches at international conferences and workshops. Dr. Rawat has published over 150 scientific/technical articles and 8 books. He has been serving as an Editor/Guest Editor for over 20 international journals. He has been in Organizing Committees for several IEEE flagship conferences such as IEEE INFOCOM 2015-2018, IEEE CNS 2017, IEEE CCNC 2016-2018, ICNC 2017/2018, IEEE AINA 2015/2016, and so on. He served as a technical program committee (TPC) member for several international conferences including IEEE INFOCOM, IEEE GLOBECOM, IEEE CCNC, IEEE GreenCom, IEEE AINA, IEEE ICC, IEEE WCNC and IEEE VTC conferences. He served as a Vice Chair of the Executive Committee of the IEEE Savannah Section from 2013 to 2017. He is the Founding Director of the Cyber-security and Wireless Networking Innovations (CWiNs) Research Lab. He received the Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia. Dr. Rawat is a Senior Member of IEEE and ACM, and a member of ASEE. Dr. Rawat is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
